The nutty, earthy, woody, molasses sweet burley is the lead component. The grassy, citrusy Virginia plays a support role. A smattering of sugary black cavendish lurks in the background. The fairly spicy, mildly sweet topping doesn’t tone down the tobaccos much. The strength is a couple steps past the mild level, while the taste is just past that mark. The nic-hit is mild. Puff slowly because the spice content is high enough to bite your tongue if you go at it very fast. I deduct a star for that reason. This short ribbon cut blend burns fairly cool and very clean at a moderate pace with a mildly sweet, lightly savory, consistent flavor from start to finish. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs an average number of relights. Has a decent after taste. An all day smoke.
