This is one of rope-based Dalberto tobaccos. Originaly produced as twisted rope, it first layer is dark and full of tobacco molasses. Produced for many years in the "Serra Gaúcha" region in south Brazil. The tobacco strain is called Jaguari that is renowned for its very unique aroma and taste.
Notes: "100% organic-tobacco, produced by a small family company from the state of Rio Grande do Sul for about 50 years. It grows without any use of pesticidal, a product of finest quality."
This is what we can call the REAL brazilian twisted tobacco. A solid, tight and dense rope, with a black and thick external layer. Manufactured following the traditional family recipe, its considered as one of the best, if not the best brazilian rope tobacco. The tobacco strain is called Jaguarí, which is in my opinion a variety of virginia, the core of the rope has a bright and shinny yellow, it has a good smoke quality, burns cool, not that hard to keep it lit considering the moist level, the taste is unique, not that strong and stinky rope smell. The nicotine level is low, what makes it an all-day smoke. The room note is really nice.
Aqui temos um tabaco autêntico, sem química, de produção 100% natural e artesanal. Esse é para aqueles que gostam do tabaco em si. Os charutos, denominados puritos, feitos das mesmas folhas, são excelentes, também. Recomendo! Here we have an authentic tobacco, without chemistry, 100% natural and handmade production. This is for those who like the tobacco itself. The cigars, called Puritos, made from the same leaves, are excellent, too. I recommend!
An experience in the south of Brazil. Great jaguari tobacco on the rope to curl hayloft as for pipe. Talk to Gustavo Dalberto and order. Worth every penny.
Jaguari tobacco is grassy from the beginning to the end. Mild strength and nicotine. Natural tobacco, no flavoring or topping. In the last part of the bowl, this tobacco is quite bitter. Ages pretty well yet are tasty when still young. One of the best ropes in southern Brazil, but so far not reached the top 10 of the best ropes in Brazil, such as Piracanjuba, Jatai, Capoeirinha and Caiçara. 3 Stars
