Jester is not pipe tobacco, but rather "pipe" tobacco...i.e., ryo cigarette tobacco imaginatively labeled for tax purposes.
I have used it as ryo and as such it is cheap and serviceable.

I got this in a grab bag where if you spend enough money the pipe and cigar store sends you some free stuff. Mostly left-over crap that they want to get rid of. I guess this was at least a year ago and as I was going to spend that much anyway why not accept the free gift. I had never intended to smoke this but thought at least I might as well try it. The tobacco is a consistent light reddish brown with a stale smelling casing or top note that I can’t put my finger on. Like the previous and until now only reviewer of this tobacco I too believe this is RYO that has been re-branded as pipe tobacco to escape the cigarette tax. In all honesty it is not that bad but after a bowl and a half it dawned on me life is too short. I am grateful that my budget allows me not to smoke this stuff and even though I said it was not that bad if this was all I could have I would rather quit the pipe.
