Tabakfabrik Roth Jabuca English Blend

(3.00)
The Jabuca 'English Blend' is a spicy mixture with a full bodied aroma of latakia, black cavendish and more. Comes in medium cut (3.5mm), blended with our own Swiss tobacco. Comes in the handy fresh pack. A unique pipe tobacco from our own production.
Notes: From the website: Incredible but true. It is possible to make a spicy and palatable blend and that's produced solely from tobaccos that were grown in Switzerland!

Made with Virginia and Burley with a bit of Black Cavendish and some Latakia. It is extremely lightly topped with what Tabakfabrik Roth call Danish flavour.

In terms of moisture, it is on the slightly dry side of Goldilocks

From the bag, the Latakia comes through most prominent, and there is a subtle hint of vanilla / nougat, but it is faint.

When smoked, it is a nice, light English blend. No tongue bite, no gurgling. The topping disappears almost completely into the background, but it helps support the tobacco and gets rid of any harsh notes / dryness in the mouth.

I like it and will buy more as an every day / all day tobacco.

At Fr. 186 per kilo, this is even cheaper than Westminster!
