Panama Jack - Key Lime.
Oh my, some things just don't work, for me. Example? This.
Appearance: a coarse mixture containing a higher amount of Virginia to black Cavendish. The moisture means immediate smoking can take place and it smells of bitter limes.
A bowl lights easily, and right away the smoke is dictated by the lime flavouring; sharp, severe, profound, bitter, and unpleasant. The tobacco flavour? More Virginia than black Cavendish, but that's a moot point, really; the ghastly topping won't let much of the natural flavours through! Being fair, it burns well, without bite.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: not nice, to me.
Key Lime? To me, this is a one star blend:
Not recommended.

Amazed that I am the first person to review a tobacco that I have found to be wonderful. I'm an aromatic smoker of almost thirty years of trial and errors and I have become quite skeptical of all the fancy names that are given to various blends. Many do smell inviting when they are in the tin but beyond that they fail miserably but not in the case of this one. You taste the key lime! Remarkable. I must see if they have other flavors with such a delivery.

The tin note gave me scents of lime/citrus but I also thought I picked up a graham cracker crust! No joke. Upon lighting I did get a bit of lime flavoring and some nice nutty Burley flavors (the crust?). Both the flavor and room note are quite pleasant. I find this to be a nice smoke on a hot summer day. In my opinion, this is much better than a one star tobacco as mentioned in another review. It’s definitely worth a try. Dry this one out as it’s a little wet.

Sounds like Summer, doesn't it?
I like Key Lime Pie, Key Lime Juice (goes great in Tequila) so I thought this might be an aro up my alley.
Nice tin art with the Panama Jack Branding. Calls for a cob. Opening the tin gives you a strong lime smell. The tobacco is also VERY moist making me wonder if there is some PG on it?
The smoke doesn't deliver as much of the lime as the smell to me. There is a little nuttiness in the background as the tobacco base tries to be heard.
Definitely a tobacco to be sipped to avoid tongue bite burns pretty hot and leaves some moisture in the bowl.
Wife didn't get much if any of the lime in the room note. See said it was just "tobacco" to her but not harsh.
Worth a try, but not something I'll be getting again
