A nutty burley & Virginia mixture with a little flavor of cavendish throughout and a low bass note of oaky bourbon throughout the smoke. I had a bit less than an ounce of a generous sample but it was quite on par with a good VaBur OTC mixture. Fairly sweet and I'm sure it was richer in flavor when fresh.

The nutty, earthy, woody, mildly sharp burleys have little sweetness as the main component. The sharp notes come from the dry, sour white burley. The grassy, tart citrusy, lightly earthy and tangy dark fruit sweet Virginia cavendish is a supporting player. The lightly fruity rich bourbon topping has a little strength and tones down the tobaccos to a fair extent. It doesn’t hide the sharpness from the white burley, and mostly holds on to the finish. Has to be sipped to avoid bite as it burns very warm on the tongue, even for a slow puffer. Has a light harshness. The nic-hit is very mild. The strength and taste levels are a step past mild. Burns at a slightly fast pace with a mostly consistent flavor. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. The after taste and room note are pleasant, but tame. An all day smoke.
