Von Eicken - Barsdorf Aromatic Mixture.
Most days I spend at least half an hour looking for new tobaccos on the internet. Sad, but true! I'd never seen this until I was in a Portuguese tobacconists, so here's my thoughts:
A medium size, well rubbed, medium brown, ribbon. I had my first pipe straight away and imminently was disappointed when I opened it: far too dry. The aromatic additions form a clumsy flavour, and there's just enough of them to make it bite. The Burley leads the smoke, with the Cavendish and Virginia sharing 2nd place. It burns hotter than the fires of hell, and way too quickly.
Room-note: tolerable. Nicotine: medium.
I can't recommend this. One star:
Pipe Used: Various
