A wonderful Danish-style aromatic.
The tin note is marmalade with a hint of vanilla. The tobacco comes as long, rolled up flake.
The flavor goes from a sweet marmalade with some vanilla, to creamy vanilla with a hint of nut, to passion fruit with a hint of rooibos. The Virginias are always there in the background, offering structure and support to the fruity top notes.
This tobacco should be sipped; smoking it too fast makes it taste ashy and bitter. Sip it gently, and it will remain sweet.
I tend to fold and stuff flake tobaccos, which means I'll need quite a few relights, but aside form that, it does burn quite nicely.
I would definitely consider this to be an all-day smoke, if it weren't hard to get. As it is, I try to make it last and only smoke an occasional bowl.
If you can get it, and if you like Danish aromatics, I heavily recommend this.

The Virginias offer some citrus and tangy dark fruit along with a bit of earth, some grass and wood, and a minor spiciness. They also have a slight fermented sweetness and a mild floral quality to them. The strong, rich, tangy orange topping takes a little of the lead over the deep honey, and the vanilla also has some depth of flavor as it underscores every puff. The toppings sublimate the Virginias quite a bit, though their inherent strength allows them to be noticeable to a mild extent. The nic-hit is slightly more than mild. The strength level is a little closer to medium than it is to mild. The taste level sits squarely on medium. There’s no chance of bite present, nor are there any harsh or dull moments. Burns cool, clean and a little slow as flake products often do with a smooth, fruity sweet, highly consistent taste from start to finish. Leaves just a little moisture in the bowl, and requires a fair amount of relights. I can see this ghosting a briar, so I suggest using a meer or a cob. Has a very pleasant, lingering after taste, and pleasant room note. Not quite an all day smoke, but one that’s repeatable.

I just smoked through half of the 100g I jarred up about 2 years ago, and did so quickly. This is a great summer smoke and it hit the spot during a very hot summer. It is what exactly what I expected when I ordered this European Aromatic.
The European Aromatics are typically Virginia dominant with a topping that is applied in such a way that the taste of the Virginia leaf is always present. This one is a straight Virginia as far as i can tell, where many of the other European Aros that I have tried include a touch of cavendish or burley in addition to the Virginia. I only mention this as this one can be a little bitier than most and I feel that this is the reason. So proper tempo is a must with this and I would never recommend this to a beginner or a faster than normal puffer as it smokes much like Mac Baren's Virginia Number 1, a notorious biter.
Otherwise, the virginia leaf is a good leaf of the brighter, grassy, citrus variety and it carries the mostly orange topping well. The topping is nice and it never overwhelms the leaf nor does it ever disappear rather remaining with the smoke through the end of the bowl. It performed well, but did require some dry time for optimal performance. I found my best bowls came from those dried to near crispiness.
Overall, I like the blend and am between two to three stars depending on what it is the smoker is seeking. For the aro smoker, I feel this could use the help of some burley or cavendish to add a little more depth to the blend and soften the edges to allow for more carefree smoking, so as an aro I would give it two stars; however, as a Virginia blend and to the Virginia smoker, this offers a little something different while not revolting them with a goopy topping. And for this smoker I would put this one at three stars.
I am putting this at three stars due mostly to the fact that it has the flexibility to appeal to both the groups identified in the previous paragraph and I enjoyed it myself (admittedly I fall more into the second group than the first) and, will hopefully, be able to hold off on smoking the remaining half of the 100g long enough to see what advantages may come from aging, if any.

Solid, earthy, I almost forget I'm smoking a pipe when the task at hand picks up. But the occasional puff and taste bring me right back to comfort and joy of this all day smoke.
