You shouldn't expect nicotine in an aromatic, and of course, there's none here. I had this on hand for a few years, it was not moist, and burned well. A pleasant rum taste, I didn't notice the vanilla. Zero tongue bite. Worth buying again.

The base of the blend is a grassy Virginia; can’t detect a sweetness from it. The earthy, nutty burley is just noticeable. The unsweetened black cavendish adds a little sugar. The rum and vanilla topping greatly sublimate the tobaccos, with the vanilla being more of a background player. The strength and taste levels are a little closer to mild than they are to medium. Won’t bite or get harsh. Has very little nicotine. Needs some dry time, and burns a little wet with a very consistent flavor from top to bottom. Leaves moisture in the bowl, and needs some relights. Has a pleasant after taste and can be an all day smoke.

This is a blend I have been smoking fairly regularly for almost a year. It smells and tastes great. It is a cool smoke with a distinct rum flavoring and a touch of vanilla in the background. I could smoke this tobacco all day and that is exactly what I have done today. If I were to only smoke one tobacco this would probably my first choice. It has a good room note and people have mentioned that they like the smell of the smoke as they walk past while I am enjoying my pipe. Give it a try and it won't disappoint you.

I didn't really find anything wrong with this offering, but I didn't find anything that made it stand out either. It was a little moist, but that was easily resolved. It burned well with few relights, no tongue burn. The tobacco seemed to be ok, but there was nothing unique in the casing. Not a bad smoke, but nothing that separates it from the crowd.
