Schürch Pirite 242
(3.00)
This is the mixture that got Hans Schürch into making more and more "Modern English" mixtures. It's as sweet-smelling as an aromatic tobacco though it's far from being one. The sweetness of the taste and aroma comes from the first-class, sweet Black Cavendish used. Several Virginias, Latakia, a bit of Perique and sweetened Black Cavendish

the concept of this mixture is perfect for smokers who like a good amount of latakia perfectly molded with sweeter leaves. If you like "Squadron Leader" this might be a good choice. The tobacco is easy to load your pipe, the smell out of the pouch is full of latakia, the sweetness of cavendish keeps you anxious... good smoke all the way down to the bottom of the bowl, no problems no relights. Not an aro at all. What i like best about this mixture- the flavor of perique is just right to sit back and relax. The room note creates some reasonable crumbles even if you smoke it outside some times but that´s a problem with all the latakia tobaccos.
