Schürch Cornola 320

This is the very first flavored mixture Hans ever made. It became an immediate success and so, led to more flavored tobaccos. The top vanilla flavor is 100% natural (nothing chemical whatsoever). It'll be a revelation to those who are used to mixtures artifically flavored with vanilla.

I have smoked more vanilla flavored aromatics over the years than I can remember. So I just couldn’t resist smelling some vanilla from the pantry to compare to Cornola since Schurch makes the claim that it is made with pure vanilla and no artificial ingredients. Well….it smells pretty close to the real deal with some added sweetness. Like some of the other Schurch tobaccos, this blend is made with quality underlying tobacco and it’s not heavily sauced like many aromatics. There is a decent dose of Virginia’s here along with the European style black Cavendish. Cornola is pretty dry to the touch and burns dryly as well. The tobacco flavor comes through and is accented nicely by the vanilla. Like many aro’s it should be smoked slowly, especially to maintain the flavor in the latter half of the bowl.
