The cigar leaf is in large ragged pieces and makes it practically impossible to get an even distribution when loading a bowl. As a result you'll sometimes get nearly none and at other times nearly nothing but. To remedy this I highly recommend running this through a food chopper. This is what I did after my first bowl and it turned a 2 star smoke into a 4.
The Virginias are nearly hidden and the main players are the Golden Cavendish and the Cigar leaf. The GC is heavenly with a wonderful sweetness and note of vanilla. The vanilla is a little bolder than mild. The Cigar leaf is fairly bold, earthy and spicy. The combination provides a very nice contrast and I find it to be mouth-watering and delicious. Not terribly complex, but not overly simple either.
Needs a little drying time. Burns perfectly after that. Break out the food chopper unless you prefer a chameleon in your bowl. The extra time to process this is very much worth it. This is great stuff. Medium in body. Medium to full in taste. Flavoring is mild to medium.
Pipe Used: MM Country Gentleman, Mark Twain, Diplomat Apple
terrible. worse than terrible. sickly sweet. i don’t think a cigar came within 10 miles of this blend. i have a number of cigar blends including the ones from warped. this would be like smoking a box of fruit loops.
