A while back I got a sample from Park Lane and gave it to a Friend who came over for Dinner and a smoke. So I didn't even try it.
However, last order I asked Chrisopher if there was anything new and he recommended Black Crush - saying a lot of Guys really liked it. So I had him throw in a couple ounces to try.
Upon receipt this tobacco looks like a pretty standard Black Cavendish. Nose in the Pouch - nothing really stands out. Taste - now here is where this tobacco shines! This is a combination of all Park Lane's Black Tobaccos with the exception of Latakia and Perique. What reveals itself is a new kind of taste that is something that it is hard to describe - other than it's completely delicious. Notes of Maple, Chocolate, Vanilla, Cherry and god knows what else combined offer almost a liquor taste.
If you like to smoke a Black Cavendish that is masterfully done - perhaps maybe the King of BC's you need to try this blend. Cool smoking, no bite at all, no wetness and so different it is uncomparable to other less expensive BCs.
