Pipe smoker for about 40 years. Tried about 200 different blends. Prefer the complex, pungent blends with Virgina, burley, perique, latakia and a lot of potent oriental & Turkish. A casing of liquor is ok if it is subtle. If quality tinned baccy isn't available Carter Hall will do. Admittedly, my reviews of candied aromatics can be harsh. No offense intended.
