Seventy one years old retiered from insurance industry. Grew up in Virginia, moved up and down the east coast through my career and have settled in South Carolina in the Charlotte, NC metro area. I've smoked pipes since I started college in 1967. I've smoked primarily burleys, Danish/Dutch cavendish, and English blends until I ventured into Virginias over the past few months. The move into VA's is proving to be a good one.

Update: I've now, after all these years, discovered and settled into classic American burley blends AKA drug store tobaccos - I can't believe it either but it's true and I'm happy about it.

This board has been a great help in finding new tobaccos to try so keep up the good work guys.
