I live in a little wooden shack, 20 yards from the sea wall, high tide level is up to 6 feet above the pitch of my roof, I don't know why, but it's difficult to get insured. (it's a bungalow, I bought it by mistake 18 years ago, moved in for a week to put it on the market, fell in love with it and I'm still here) Since living here, I've learned to be a lot more relaxed about life, I'm sure it's better for my health. It really is great, in the summer months the beach is covered with babes in bikinis and they all go home when its gets a bit colder and leave the residents in peace. What more could I ask for?
