I have been smoking pipes since I was 15 years old when I discovered the pleasures of the stem while working all night stocking groceries in a Denver, Colorado store. I started out with Carter Hall, Middleton Five, and Mixture 79. When I discovered Danish tobaccos on a trip to Scandanavia in 1971 I was quickly converted to well blended and cased tobaccos.
I am a college professor and writer who has chronicled the depressing triumph of the Health Nazis who are quickly turning the country into a medocracy dedicated to the Puritan elimination of the consumptive pleasures of others.
