Retired physician, My father was a pipe smoker and liked Kaywoodies. I learned early to ream and clean them. A pipe helped me study in medical school, but drifted awat when the work required me too many hours daily.

I am a Boswell fan all the way. I love the tobaccos, the pipes and the service from Boswells.

After retirement I began buying estate pipes an nreconditioning them. Not a heavy smoker, and really like Boswells aromatics. I have a few Petersons, Comoys, meerschaums (collected in Turkey in the Navy), Ben Wades,

I have some updates. I am a Boswell fan all the way. Their blends are the very best. I now love my Boswell pipes, my Peterson’s, my old Wally Franks that I still have from the 60s but have become also a fan of Missouri Meershaum. These pipes smoke as well as a thousand dollar pipe, break in very easily, are light and are cheap. They last for years with care. I have some decades old and are still as good as new.
