Hearth & Home Marquee Series WhiteKnight Pipe Tobacco

This is one of my favorite blends. Actually, this blend is the one that transitioned me from aromatics to other blends. You definitely get the Latakia, but the virginias provide a slight sweetness that balances it out well. If you’re curious about Latakia blends, this a a nice place to start. If you love Latakia, this is a great blend to keep.

I love Balkan blends and this is one of the better ones. The Blender certainly knows his tobacco and has come up with a Sobranie like taste. Slightly milder than Black House. This is a good all-day smoke.

I was looking for a nice smoking tobacco. I didn't mind paying the price because of all the great reviews. I can tell you without a doubt that it is the worst tasting crapbacco I've ever smoked. It tastes like I smoking a bar of soap. I don't get it.

Very similar to other Balkan type H&H Marquis brands so you know it is a decent smoke, however, Magnum Opus is still the best in MHO.

This is by far one of the best English/Oriental blends that I have ever tried. Tin note is similar to other Russ Ouellette's blends (I can think of John Cotton's 1&2). A very good blend burns cool down to the bottom of the bowl. It requires a number of relights.

Delicious and medium bodied with a great aroma. Dances on the taste buds. Never had the original Balkan Sobranie smoking mixture but if White Knight is what BS was then I can see why it's a legendary blend. Glad I got a few tins.

WhiteKnight is my favorite blend. I look forward to a bowl (or two or three) of this everyday. I keep several tins on hand so I never run out.

Yesterday brought a fresh tin of the re-release of BS, white label. No taste, flavor, no nothin'. Four puffs and then knocked it all out of my Peterson. I smoked clouds and clouds of BS, white in the 70s/80s. WhiteKinght nails it. The release of BS is a brave, but underwhelming effort.
