Five Brothers Pipe Tobacco Pouch

This was a surprise from tobaccopipes.com included in my order. Nutty buttery and damn good. The nic hit people claim isn't there for me. Burns faster than anything I've smoked.

This is a great blend. I always keep a few pouches on hand. The shag cut is simple. Burns great - tastes great. You can’t go wrong with this one.

In 1943, I was born in Billion Dollar coal fields of WV. Five Brothers was with the coal miners and myself an economical "chew". John Wadosky smoked it - I tried it once. just chewed it. It was a comfortable "chew". You placed the tobacco between your teeth and cheek, and hold it there. It was easy to spit - did not add much the salvia. It was placed beside chewing tobacco in the company stores and grocery stores, Just one problem. The tobacco was wrapped in soft paper then wrapped in stronger paper. Then it was like a present. Lay the larger down, place the wrapped tobacco in the center, wrap the ends, fold them towards the center get the thin paper tape, hook across fold corner, thru center, across other end, and, tie string securely around it. You had to take care in handling it. If you sat on it, smashed it, gently open it, with two fingers reach in, pinch off what you need. I was seventeen cutting grass. Nick, and Little Ox came in the yard. They wanted a "chew". Told them, I did not have enough for two. Told them I would buy them "poke". Got Thru - ask them what kind they wanted, They answered, Five Brothers.

A good straight forward tobacco. Do not expect anything other than a natural burley taste. Packs easy and burns exceptionally well. I keep a good stock in my cellar and for the price this blend is a bargain.

Pure burley and tastes good with a moderate kick of nicotine but the only problem with this product is that it is dry and really quick to burn.

I enjoyed this tobacco in a Comoys Riband Billiard. Five Brothers is sweet the first quarter of the bowl and reliably pleasant all the way to the bottom of the bowl. The flavor gently becomes richer as the bowl progresses and burns to a fine grey black speckled ash. Pack the tobacco tightly, and sip it slowly, There is a decent amount of nicotine in this leaf. No ashy flavor. Pleasant after taste , kind of leaves a clean flavor. I smoked this tobacco several times today. It's easy on the pipe, easy on my tongue, and easy on my wallet.

Oh so good. My favorite burley, ever. Just straight up, stout, no-frills burley.

Pure tobacco taste, nutty. Burns a bit fast. Above medium in strength and taste. Good value smoked in many pipes. It will de-ghost a pipe.

5 Bro's gives me a satisfying no-nonsense, clean, dry smoke. Good complimentary blender. Add this to aromatics for a bit more kick.! Recommended for small bowls, large bowls will be a lot to handle with the nic hit.
