Balancing full flavor with robust strength, it's handcrafted using a host of rare tobacco varietals: Eastern NC Red Virginias (2017), Bright Canadian Virginias (2017), Turkish Izmir (2018), Greek Basma (2019), Turkish Latakia, and genuine St. James Perique. The flavor is dark, rich, and subtly sweet with an smoky, incense-like quality evocative of shadows in the woods.

When the first run of this blend came out I was only fortunate enough to grab about 3 tins from my local b&m before they were gone. Online retailers had already sold out. I'm not a huge fan of Night cap, bit I gave this a whirl and behold, I liked it a whole lot more than NC. So when this new run was release I stocked up big time... excellent blend, really well rounded and smooth.

For me, it seems to have a very soapy after taste which kills any enjoyment from smoking it.

Definitely worth trying a tin. I loved it. It was interesting with many different elements but nothing over powering. Well balanced and very enjoyable experience.

Excellent! A highly complex blend with a fulfilling taste and a pleasant room note. The combination of Turkish Izmir and Greek Basram is probably the only harmonious union of Turks and Greeks in the history of the Universe. The perfect amount of Latakia and the right touch of Perique round out the flavor. Rich, satisfying and elegant! A masterpiece of blending, grand for any time of day, any season.

This is a nice blend and is delicious, but I find in the English realm, there are a lot of similarities to other blends. From the first few bowls, it had a nice creaminess that works well with an early morning or late afternoon black coffee.
