this blend is awesome but i make it awesomer by mixing 50/50 with quite nights. its sooooo! gooood!

Balkan Supreme? LOVE THE STUFF Rich, woody, delicious are the three ways I describe this blend. I smoke a lot daily and have made this my go to. The rich woody taste is just what I like. So much so that my tongue doesn't always agree but as for Balkan Supreme? I highly recommend.

Really good stuff. I imagine that it would be even better with a little age. I'll probably never know since I smoke it so fast.

I've smoked Balkan and English blends since the mid 1970s. This Balkan (made by Peter Stokkebye) has been my mainstay for years. I enjoy several Balkan/English blends from GL Pease and Samuel Gawith, among others, but am equally pleased with this Balkan, at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend it.

I smoked Balkan Sobranie way back in the 60's. This blend has the soft, smooth taste of the classic.

Balkan blends are my favorite and this one it at the top of that list. I honestly believe that its the bulk version of our beloved Sobrani. So rich and smooth with a touch of sweetness. Just about a daily smoke for me. Highly recommended if you are into Balkans.

Oh my. I bought a pound of this to cellar for a few months/years, but held back an ounce to try. I tried it out in an AKB meerschaum and with the first bowl I hit a strong wave of spice to the point I call the Listerine effect, where if you take a sip of water your mouth stings as if using Listerine. I thought, uh-oh, I'm not going to like this! However, as the bowl progressed to my pleasant surprise the spice faded, and then, very nicely, waxed and waned, but never over powered. Fantastic medium strength Latakia. Love it! Immediately bought another pound!
