its just ok. ok burn. 1st half bowl mild and flavorfull. 2nd half turns dry and then just a little harsh. theres just to many wonderful english blends out there to rate this blend any higher than a 3.

Surprisingly Good
I am new to pipes and this blend was recommended by a YouTube channel. I must say it is a pleasant easy smoke. No bite and a cool smoke. Try it.

I was surprised
Well here I am reviewing this again, I bought 2 more pouches of this as I enjoyed it that much. I am still looking for my everyday tobacco, but I do enjoy this blend. I admit I was wrong with my original review, this was stronger than plum pudding but good as well. buy a pouch try it and enjoy.

Surprising Second Bowl
So I would like to revise my rating on this tobacco. After taking some time and some bowls of other tobacco's I smoked a second bowl of this ad was surprised that I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. As a new pipe smoker, I had ideas of what I thought I was going to like and what I wasn't. I think I smoked this with some preconceptions based on the tin note which I didn't like when I first opened it. after taking the time to figure out what each aroma was and where the flavors were coming from, this has become an enjoyable smoke for me. While it's not a Plum Pudding it's also not a drug store cherry cavendish. I will be making another purchase of this in the future as I do enjoy it. I am still looking for my everyday tobacco but I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try an English blend.

Is this a good representation of an English Blend
So I got the Amphora sampler pack and started with the English blend, not ever having an english blend. I am not sure if this is a typical representation of an English blend and if its a good one, but it didnt doi it for me. Here are my impressions: Smell on opening was very like day old horse manure, not great but not horrible slow cool burn with some bite there was a smell very much like burning wet wood again not horrible but not great. This was not something I would normally smoke on a daily basis, maybe when I was sitting around a camp fire with a few drinks in me I wouldn't mind it but not something I wouldn't normally put in my pipe. for those who enjoy an english blend I am sure it is a good blend though
