The perfect plug
I just started smoking pipes for the third time in 40yrs, and has finally stuck. As "almost" all new smokers start with aromatics, I fit into that category, but it only took a couple of months to transition to non-aromatics, English type. This is my first introduction to English style plug tobacco and I love it.

The most perfect blend Indeed!
BIG FAN OF THIS BLEND! Perfect dessert smoke after dinner. The sugars from the Virginia burn off nicely and form a pleasant, slow burning, bready and tame fruity nose. The retrohale produces plum, raisin, and peppery notes that finish away perfectly to finish the overall complexity of the blend. The 2nd part of the bowl was burley forward with more nutty and oily notes but the Virginia bread and yeast still come through strong enough to continue to savor the blend. The relights did not take much and was enjoyable to coax the Virginia back to life. So glad I bought this blend. Probably my overall favorite end of night/dessert smoke! Beautifully done!

This one requires some time patience and a sharp knife. very dense plug. shave it thin a cross grain rub it out and smoke. the reward for your work is a very smooth and creamy smoke with raisin undertones and a bit of smokey campfire. this may be the best Peterson tobacco out there. definitely what a plug is all about.

Very good blend
This is a delicious blend that might not be an all day smoke but repeatable. Dried fruits, nuts, wood and sweetness you'll taste. Let me share with you how I enjoy this tobacco: I recommend to use a wide bowl pipe, slice it to 1/16 of an inch (do not peel the layers off), rub it until it gets soft, let it dry, load and enjoy. It's slow burning and will require some relights but it is worth it.
