Cornell & Diehl Miskatonic Mixture Pipe Tobacco

Uninspiring, nothing new hear that has not appeared in other blends.

I only gave it four stars though, because though its flavor is pretty good, it seems to only be there for the first half (or less) of a bowl, after that it just tastes plain and uninspiring. I found that using it though in anything you'd like to have a *very* subtle sweetness as a mixer/filler. It's made my Old Toby a little better by toning down the overbearing sweetness of *that* blend but still leaves it a very, very nice aromatic. Make sure you rub it out somewhat when you open the tin, as there may be 'clumps' in it. It's not too dry nor moist, it just has clumps here and there, heh.

I love the names we give tobacco. Just the name alone is an education. Cornell & Diehl is an excellent example of American know how! This tobacco blend is exquisite! It must be experienced to be appreciated. More then just a wonderful smoke, Cornell & Diehl packages it in 2 oz. cans. More of a truly great work of art for &5.00 less per can! The proof is in the use. Don't take my word for it, Start by finding the meaning of Miskatonic. Then when you first open the can, get close to it and inhale deeply. It's been said that tobacco improves with age. This blend won't be in my storage long enough to gain any significant age. If there is such a thing as being too good, then this is it!
