A lite-aromatic with a touch of latakia.
When I ordered this, I didn't realize that it was a burley based blend. Although I do like burley as a support player, I don't usually like burley dominant blends. This is not a typical burley blend. Modern English has an alcohol topping that sublimates the earthiness of the burley. Modern English is neither a typical English nor would I class it as an aromatic. It is a very pleasant, mild to medium blend with low nicotine that is a nice change of pace. Although I enjoy this as is, it's also really nice when mixed 50/50 with a mild English (London Squire &/or Old College) or blended with some un-topped Virginia & a touch of Latakia. Once I've smoked this pound I will probably buy another. Highly recommended.
