Enjoying the sunny skies and smoking a 2017 aristocratica dublin, in keeping with the dublin theme we seem to have going on today.

Keep it smoky guys!

I just received my new shipment of Mac Baren HH Pure Virginia, and Peter Stokkebye 81 Danish Export.  I'm going to be a little busy over the next week or two making some good tasting blends!  The HH is a little on the mild side, and PS 81 is a bit stouter!  Nice aroma on both tobaccos.  I may make one blend with the HH, a second blend using PS 81.  I will even attempt mixing the two together in a blend and see what transpires.

Enjoying some davidoff flake medallions paired with some lovely single barrel bourbon. Great start of the weekend!

Smoking some Uhle's 00 in an old 1936 171 restored group 3 sized billiard ... a relaxing, delicious and easy-going burley blend.

This is the most peculiar aromatic i ever smoked. REALLY good one. It is hard to describe due to its many different layers of flavor. The boring ones on duty might complain bc the added flavors are strong but for me who loves aromatic blends this one is splendid.

Louisiana Broken Flake (HU Tobacco), in a Stanwell Night & Day bent apple. This is quite possibly my favourite VaPer - and that’s saying something, as I have quite a few fantastic examples of the type/genre. It’s been a divine smoke every time I’ve tried it. Highly recommended.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  While browsing through blends, I came across pumpkin spice.  If any of our members even hints they like it, I will have my dog come to your house and take a dump on your stash.  Be warned!

I haven’t felt like switching from the Sun Bear Mountain Flower since last night and I’m smoking it right now in a TV churchwarden.

I misread your post as 'twitching' ... and was wondering... haha 🙂

I only start twitching when I pay attention to what is happening in the world, smoking combined with tuning it all out makes it go away 😃.

I think it was Rene that mentioned months ago he made a tamper from a twig. So I made one also. I have pretty bad nerve damage so a bigger tamper is easier for me to use. I then rusticated it. Lol

I've been detached from the Matrix up in the mountains for some solo camping and hiking. I took 3 pipes a pouch of Amphora Burley, Haunted Bookshop cookie, HH Burley flake and last minute add of a couple ozs of MacB Navy Flake. I pretty much smoked the Navy Flake exclusively. Just wonderful pipe tobacco.

I was so bitterly disappointed in the praised MB Plumcake. I never tried Navy Flake for that reason.

since your palate seems compatible:

what do you like about the blend? One only reads good things about it.

same with Stockton Roll Cake which is to be discontinued as a tobacconist told me….

It's amazingly smooth. Super easy to smoke. Has a wonderful burley base with a sweetish richness that just hits the spot.

I avoided it too thinking it would be bitey and overly rummy. But it's wholly toothless. Refined. Rich. Delicious.

I know what you mean. Every time I open a tin it's gone before I know it.

MacB Navy Flake would definitely be shortlisted. It's truly wonderful.

Hosted A:B tobacco tasting with two of my favorite medium English blends - G L Pease “Samarra” and J M Boswell’s “Northwoods”.

I personally prefer Samarra, but Northwoods took the honors with this particular gathering.

They’re both in my top 5 English blends, so no skin off my nose. 😎👍

Finishing the day as the sun goes to rest -- using another small bowl pipe -- filled with big N Burley in a 1967 dunhill shell briar 32 F/T Group 1 size... just a wonderful smoker.
