Diamond Crown is a line of three Robert McConnell aromatic tobaccos which seem to use higher-quality tobaccos and light, well-applied flavorings which are well-integrated. Black Honey, Nougat & Cherry Blossom, the three DC blends, are easily the best of McConnell's otherwise ordinary line of aromatic offerings. I received Cherry Blossom in a sampler, and frankly, I avoided smoking it for as long as possible, envisioning a Borkum Riff-like, Wild Cherry Lifesaver experience. Instead, a very delicate & mild flavor, which you can tell is cherry but you don't know why. The tin aromais not at all overpowering. The room aroma is wonderful, light. The smell and taste is truly like a cherry BLOSSOM, very hard to describe but very nice. For those who have tried Dunhill Three Year Matured Virginia after the tin has been opened for a week or so, this is comparable to the faint raspberry essence of 3YMV. Nothing cloying. A top 5 aromatic, a nice summer smoke.
