The various cavendishes offer a little grass, toast and bread, and sugar. The honey topping sublimates the tobaccos to a moderate extent. The nic-hit is barely there. Won’t bite or get harsh. Burns fairly cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a mostly consistent flavor. Leaves little moisture in the bowl and requires a average number of relights. The pleasant after taste doesn’t lasting. An all day work and play smoke. Two and a half stars.
My Smoking Shop-Golden Honey. What an indulgent smoke! The pleasure begins the moment the pouch is opened. The smell, whoa the smell! It's a very sweet/full honey one which really teases the sweet tooth. The colour is mostly a medium to dark brown which includes a few jet black specks. The moisture level is irrefutable so it can be smoked right away.
The flavour of the smoke is pure heaven! The honey is more than easy to identify, it's not just some sickly sweetness but a definite honey addition. Although it's very sweet it doesn't seem too much, it doesn't have that yucky touch that stronger aromatics can often have.
The natural sweetness of the Cav' works brilliantly with the honey. I do however fear that anyone without a sweet tooth would hate this blend though!
Nicotine now. Next to nothing! There really isn't much more to say!
This is a very enjoyable blend. The archetypal evening smoke to sit and feel calm with. Highly recommended.
P.S this one's a little perplexing for me as normally I don't even have a sweet tooth so stick to non-aromatics!!
