Mild Medium Mild to Medium Very Pleasant

The flue cured Virginias are a little grassy with a minor hit of citrus, and a touch of earth and honey. The burley is a little toasty, nutty and earthy with barely any sweetness. The black cavendish has the mildest vanilla note possible, and isn’t often noticeable. The rich peach topping sublimates the tobaccos, though it’s not overbearing in strength. I do notice the tobaccos just a little more in the last third of the smoke. Has virtually no nicotine. Burns fairly cool, clean, and creamy smooth at a reasonable pace. Requires only a few relights. Has no dull spots and won’t bite, though a slow pace is recommended. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl. The after taste and room note are very pleasant. An all day smoke.

Newminster - No. 303 Creamy Peaches.

My blend looks a bit coarser than the picture here, and has a strong peachy smell. The mixture has an equal quantity of each colour, and the moisture's good.

In the smoke the Virginia comes across the lightest. The Burley has a rustic flavour, with the black Cavendish softening the smoke. There's lots of peaches, but little actual 'cream'; due to the black Cav' softening the experience Softer Peaches might be a more applicable name than Creamy Peaches! It burns well and doesn't bite.

Nicotine: mild. Room-note: pleasant.

Creamy Peaches? Not a bad smoke, but there's better aromatics available. Two stars:

Somewhat recommended.

Mild Mild to Medium Mild Pleasant

I'm not a very experienced pipe smoker, but I really enjoyed this one. The peach flavor was subtle but noticeable, and it was a pleasant change of pace from some of the more common aromatic flavorings. I thought it was more "peachy" rather than syrupy sweet, which I liked.

I dried it out about a half hour before smoking, it burned well with only a couple relights, and it produced a nice fluffy, creamy smoke.

I'll definitely pick up some more of this.
