I had wanted to try something new and the man behind the counter suggested this blend as a "light Latakia blend." I found it to be very heavy indeed, but I enjoyed it, and believe that it is sure to please even the most discerning of smokers. The aromas are thick, complex and earthy; the way we all imagine a tobacco shop or our Grandfather's pipe to smell. The flavor of the tobacco is unaltered and earthy, with a hint of spiciness. Burns down to a fine grey ash with no unwanted residue left in the bowl. Not an all day smoke for me, but definitely something to smoke around the fire at night.
