I nominated this for review, but I am not quite sure are the flavorings are accurate so feel free to edit.

Many pipe enthusiasts spend their whole lives searching for the perfect blend. Maybe it exists or maybe it doesn't. If not, this blend is pretty close. First, it have a wonderful, full taste. It has a nutty, cappuccino, maple type taste to it. It is not overly sweet and has the right amount of each flavor for a complex taste.

This is the perfect blend for contemplating the mysteries of the universe. I generally prefer to smoke it alone because of this. However, the aroma acts as an aphrodisiac. I kid you not. Back when the Waffle House allowed smoking in their resteraunts, I would smoke this. I got several phone numbers from the young ladies who passed through who commented on how wonderful this smelled. If you're single, this may be a possible answer.

This is like an old friend and should only be smoked in briars and meerschaums. Speaking of meerschaums, Carolina Home Blend smokes even better in your favorite sea-foam, getting sweeter and sweeter with each smoke.

Only drawback is that its not a blend to be smoked in a rush. You will lose so much by not smoking this with the dignity and patience it deserves. I have several pipes dedicated to this blend and was fortunate to find it so early on in my pipe smoking ventures. We have spent many years together.

I do not generally search out aromatic blends preferring VaPer's and English blends. My wife went to visit a good friend in North Carolina and asked her if she could take her to a Tobbacco store so she could pick me up some pipe tobacco. So her friend took her to B&B in Ashville. After she provided some info to the staff they suggested Beck's Ol' Limey Bastard (which I have reviewed earlier). My wife bought some for me but, as she said "when I smelled it I thought it would be awful so I asked if they had something that would smell better" So, after smelling her way through various offerings, she decided upon Carolina Home. I put it away thinking some day she will ask about this or she will forget she got it. She asked. So I got out a fresh corncob and commenced to fire up a bowl. Well! It was quite tastey. Much better than I had anticipated. The most prominent smell upon opening the bag was one of chocolate and maple but once lit was more like carmal, cashew nuts and rich creamy coffee. Now that I am nearing the last of this blend (yes I have smoked the entire, minus a couple of bowls, two ounces) I realize I'm going to miss this intermittent sojurn from my regular tobacco blends. As a matter of fact this is the absolute best aromatic I have ever smoked (although it did leave a bit of a 'Ghost' behind). Smoked at a gentle pace I experienced no tongue bite what-so-ever and the room aroma was extremely nice. If I lived near B&B I could see myself buying a half a pound or so to keep cellared for those times when I want to switch things up from my regular rotation. If you are an aromatic fan with a bit of a sweet tooth (emphasis on bit as the sweet is noticeble but not overwhelming ) then you must find a way to get some of this in your pipe!

Eureka!!!! Being partial to my Carolina heritage, it made perfect sense for me to give this one a try. I've never been disappointed in the customer service or knowledge base of my local artisan tobacconist, and B&B has come through, yet again. Excellent flavor, exotic and sweet with enough punch to remind me why I love smoking. The room note is amazing and the wife will even comment on how nice it smells. This is going into permanent rotation status and will not be removed easily. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and pick up a few ounces, you will not be disappointed.
