If Christmas were year round this would be the blend to smoke. Full of flavor, spice and everything nice this is a little known blend that should be in one's rotation. I must admit, I was hesitant to purchase a tin at first for fear it would be too spicy or bitey to the pallate. Not so. No bite and not overly sweet, just a well balanced blend that puts you in pipe smoking heaven from the first draw onward. There's a very likable ginger note, a hint of coco and vanilla, a pinch of spices here and a nice almond note there. It's a harmonious blend from start to finish- not to mention silky white clouds of smoke (yes!). Good moisture content and nice cut of top qaulity leaf with an enticing but subtle fragrance. A great blend that smokes well, hits all the right notes at the right time and comes in a handsome looking tin. I wouldn't call it aromatic, but rather well seasoned. Non-aromatic fans will really enjoy this. Job well done, Wessex!!

This is a heavy aromatic flavored with sweet licorice on a burley base. Its a bit too sweet for me. I've tried in in blending, but there are so many others I prefer over this.
