Very pleasant, excellent for a beginner. No tongue bite whatsoever. An excellent choice for the beginner having a relatively low price, but still of decent quality . I would recommend a 10 minute drying of the freshly opened ribbon cut tobacco, than it will burn beautifully, and produce a nice, pleasant, sweet smoke, leaving white ashes behind. Tastes like a warm Christmas evening by the fire: mild, yet sweet, a perfect day to day tobacco for an average Hungarian pipe smoker with a sweet tooth, yet it does not have the squishy feel of aromatics. The room note is enjoyable, I got several positive comments from baristas, while smoking on a terrace. Like with every pipe and tobacco, you must be patient, study its properties, learn its virtues and it will reward you with a cavalcade of earthly pleasures.

The blend is superb for lovers of plain tobacco. Pure burley and cavendish, minimal sweetness is felt. Found it to be suitable for all pipe shapes and sizes, but is especially nice to have it from a smaller pipe as a quick stop from one place to another. Burns soft, never bites, but tends to overheat if smoken in a faster pace, in which case it can lose its nice, clean taste. I, for one, do not like blends that taste that plain, but objectively seeing, it is a great blend and is recommended for everyone.
