The earthy, nutty, woody burley is the varietal that stands out the most. The citrusy, grassy Virginia is a secondary player. The steamed, toasted black cavendish adds a sugary smoothness to the mix. The dark roasted espresso topping edges out the creamy vanilla essence, and both moderately sublimate the tobaccos. The strength is just past the center of mild to medium, while the taste is a slot stronger. The nic-hit is in the center of mild to medium. There’s no chance of bite or harshness. Has no rough edges. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable rate with a very consistent, smooth creamy sweet flavor that translates to lightly lingering, pleasant after taste, and room note. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. An all day easy going smoke.

Just bought some of this from PipesandCigars.com. its very good. I'm a huge fan of Sutliff tobacco as of late. This blend is mild but a good cold weather smoke. It very much smells like coffee and vanilla and is smooth and cool burning. If you burn it a little hotter it cab create huge clouds of thick white smoke, but at the cost of some tongue bite. The taste is good, although somewhat different and its hard to taste both vanilla and coffee together. I seem to only notice on flavor at a time. The vanilla tends to overpower the coffee though, which is good or bad depending on what flavor you intended to enjoy most. Abojt halfway through the smoke, it burns somewhat wet. But toward the bottom it burns through that and dries out.

Sutliff Tobacco Co. - Vanilla Latte D59.

The mixture's coarse, nicely hydrated, has an aroma of sweet coffee, and although coarse is redundant of twigs. The enticing aroma made me want to fill a bowl asap.

This is one of those blends where massive descriptions become tautological and pointless. It is what it is: an aromatic, where the sweet vanilla latte leads. Sure, the topping subconrads and smothers, to a moderate extent, the tobaccos, but enhances the experience; nicely. The tobaccos aren't too 'heavy' tasting for an aromatic. Although it contains black Cavendish the nutty Burley and rich Virginia outweigh it. On the negative side of things the smoke can become warm, and bitey; so, sip it gently, or incur it's wrath! On the plus side I can't say relighting was an issue!

Nicotine: quite mild. Room-note: quite pleasant.

Vanilla Latte D59? The flavour's nice, but the mechanics are inept. So, two stars it is:

Somewhat recommended.

I was expecting more Vanilla taste. I think the coffee overpowers the vanilla, making it mostly a coffee taste with sugar. The tobacco performs well and requires little relights. The perfect moisture level and ribbon cut allow for this. Seemed a bit high in the burley side. Overall, an average blend, that isn’t remarkable, but I don’t mind smoking it either
