Just getting started smoking pipes so I'm not sure what cavendish is supposed to taste like. I bought this because the guy at Monte's recommended it. I'm not a fan. Maybe added to a blend, but by itself I don't care for it. I don't have another cavendish brand to compare it to so take it for what it's worth. I highly recommend Monte's, though.
