As is the case with the other Reiner blends that I have smoked over the years, #51 reeks of quality all the way and is a bit unusual as an English smoke as it contains a nice little dose of Kentucky. The Latakia is thick cut, burns slow and smoky and the Virginia element supports the whole cast. It carries a bit more strength and less full flavor than many so called "English" blends on the market today. Pipestud

This is a nice little blend I discovered at my local B&M. Not sure what the percentage of the components are, but it does definitely have a nice helping of Latakia in it. It smokes cool and dry right out of the tin for me. It burns down to a nice ash at the bottom of the bowl. No goop or other residue that is there with aromatics. It is not overpowering in the nicotine levels but it does the trick for me, YMMV. Recommended.
