I truly wanted to like this tobacco. I enjoy the other Mostex blends I have tried, London Mixture and Irish Spring Flake, very much. I just can't get behind this one though. It smells fragrant in the tin, and has a nice room note with a hint of some kind of berry. They may be going for a cherry flavor here, but it falls short. It bites a little bit, and the overall flavor is lacking. There are way too many other aromatics out there that are better. Sorry, Mr. Stanislaw!

One of the weaker aromatics in the Stanislaw series.

Pouch note is pleasant, with vanilla taking clear precedence, but there is other stuff in there as well. As for the taste and smoking experience... I think they overreached with this blend a bit. It's a confused pot pourri of not the best quality tobaccoes and somewhat fake-feeling casings. The smoke is not very wholesome or particularly pleasant, but rather harsh and stingy, and there's way too much tongue bite for a soft aromatic like this. Funnily, for these reasons, it's not even an all day smoke.

I debated long with myself whether this makes the 2-star mark or not, but after reading what I wrote here I have to say no, it just quite does not. Not buying again.

PS. The packaging in this one was funny and unusual - not a 50 gram tin as the description here states, but a nondescript foil pouch inside a small cardboard box with the Stanislaw label pasted onto it.
