Black cavendish is the basis for this blend of finest English style. Smoky latakia, different Virginia tobaccos and fine Oriental tobacco are added to give more richness to this mixture. Like this a silky, round, very digestible taste is developed. This tobacco could be smoked the whole day long.

This is a match of Rattray's Black Mallory or 7 Reserve. If we compare the German tin description of BM with the English wording, it seems to be a word by word translation. A direct comparison of BM and this blend shows many similarities, though No. 5 has a very light coffee-like smell out of the tin. It burns totally cool, forgiving, smooth and fragrant. No Oriental-sourness detected, and for the price (~50 CNY = 6EUR) it is a first class tobacco which is indeed an All-day smoke. Thumbs up if you like BM/MM965 and the like. 5/5
