Most of my experiences with spirits flavored aromatics for the most part have fallen into two different groups. They either have so much alcohol in them that the flavor of the spirit overpowers the blend or there is so little that its hard to tell that there's alcohol in the blend. As a result, I had some reservations when I received Loch Ness as part of an aromatic sampler from the fine folks at Park Lane. It was actually one of the last that I tried. Loch Ness doesn't suffer from either of the above mentioned issues. Upon packing the pipe, and breathing through it before lighting, a nice soft sweet whiskey flavor greets the taste buds. Upon lighting, Loch Ness offer a just the right amount of whiskey flavor that complements the tobacco. Loch Ness is a wonderfully balanced aromatic that lives up to its description. It doesn't goop up the pipe either. Great job from Paul and the guys at Park Lane. Highly Recommended!
