PCCA Hairy Larry
(3.00)
A stoved, full latakia mixture. Rich tobacco for heavy relaxing.
Notes: The finest Virginias and Cyprian and Syrian latakia stoved together for added richness. Larry's favorite.

To start, it has been quite a while since I have had a cyprian/syrian latakia blend. While I am more of a fan of syrian only, this has been a pleasant blend to smoke thus far.
Tin note had some of the tell tale McClelland vinegar tang. It was difficult to pick out either latakia. The flakes themselves were jet black with loads of crystals on them. Rubbing them out gave a slightly moist ribbon that I let dry for a bit.
I had zero issues getting it going and could keep the bowl lit with very little effort. Even with some pretty fast smoking, I couldn't get it to bite.
The tastes were a mixture of the 2 latakias. Neither of them over powers the other. There is some sweetness to it, but mostly a delicious smokey goodness. Due to my puffing cadence I sometimes have an issue smoking all the way to the bottom, but that was not an issue here.
If the price is right, grab a tin of this. Good stuff!

Hairy Larry deposits the Virginia component far in the background (top quality McClelland's style), and the two types of Latakia (Syrian & Cyprian are stoved together to make for a semi-sweet and very smoky presentation.
