A new unique blend inspired by American tobacco traditions. A golden blend of tobaccos. A smooth and soft Vanilla aroma. An exceptionally mellow smoke. Delightful aromatic taste. A true pleasure journey. Air cured Burley and Virginia, ribbon cut.

At a loss as to why some of these very superb E.A. Carey blends are not getting more notice and better play. Befitting its name I could imagine Mediterranean Blend achieving an exceptional reception from the Gibralter Strait and Tangier all the way to Dubrovnik on the Adriatic. This is a 100 percent US American burley and Virginia mixture which smokes like a dearly out-of-reach Euro priced import. I reserve my best pipe, a Peterson Kinsale rustic finish to savour hours of pipe puffing Nirvana. Underpriced by today's brutal market conditions, this One is a hidden, unsung American smoking treasure. The E.A. Carey price for a 15 oz. package is still a steal. Happy Hunting!

I agree with "chetking", that EA Carey's Mediterranean Blend is "overlooked". This blend of Burley, Virginia, and toasted Cavendish with a hint of Vanilla; lights well, and smokes to the "bottom-of-the-bowl". The women like the "Room-Notes". I am not a "vanilla" fan, but this is a very smokable blend, and I recommend it.
