A delightfully light, vanilla sweet Aromatic for those fans of burley based flavoured cavendish. "Anna" from Abenacki of northern New Hampshire - one of the last, best value oriented mail order tobacconists on the East Coast, USA - sent a 2 oz. sampler recently - cheers! Its a game changer. Will put in a nice order for some summertime enjoyment for what is my surprise blend find for Spring, 2012. Happy Hunting!
UPDATE: July 2, 2012. I just put in an order for 16 Oz. of this sweet blend for $26.99 incl. sales tax - a swell price considering it might cost almost twice that much in NY State and other governmental entities making a tyranny out of pipe and other forms of smoker recreation.

The red Virginia offers dark fruit and earth. The lightly grassy, citrusy gold Virginia plays a second lead in the cavendish style, and has a light honey note. The burley is nutty, molasses sweet with a little earth in the background. The black cavendish provides a little brown sugar. The vanilla and mild spice toppings sport some richness, and is more obvious than the light chocolate. The toppings do sublimate the tobaccos to a fair extent, and do not weaken. The nic-hit is mild. No chance of bite or harshness. Burns at a moderate pace, cool and clean with a very smooth, consistent flavor all the way through. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires an average number of relights. Has a pleasant after taste and room note. An all day smoke.
