Mild aromatic cavendish, by the House of Edgeworth, Richmond, VA.
Edgeworth described this tobacco in a magazine advertisement as, "A natural aromatic blend laced with exotic orchid bean flavor, cavendish cut for coolness.
I got to try a vintage pouch of this that I found on Ebay. The seller claimed that it was left over tobacco from her deceased husband. I had to put it into a humidor to bring it back to life. The tobaccos was from the sixties. The room note was very light and leafy. The blend reminded me of Lane's Oriental Cavendish, which was a good experiment.Too bad that this and all the other Larus Bros. tobaccos are no more.I got to try two tins of vintage Larus Bros Edgeworth sliced which were just AWESOME! Funny that there is no review category for it under Larus bros. here.I just thought I would add this little note since I was discussing the beloved Edgworth Brand Thank you!
Pipe Used: briar
Age When Smoked: atleast over 45 years old tobaccos
