Torben Dansk No.1 Original Scottish Blend
(3.33)
The traditional English-Orient-Virginia mixture with a higher proportion of Syrian Latakias, full of spicy, yet comfortable with the typical soft, subtle natural sweetness of Virginia. Slow smoldering and cool smoke.

I am a novice in pipe smoking and just came off from Captain Black. Definitely a significant upgrade.
First off, the tin smell is very nice. Secondly, no tongue bite. And it burns really well; slow and cool.
The room smell is also very nice, a little on the milder side but the after taste is really nice. I can’t really differentiate between Virginia, Oriental but I like the overall aroma.
For comparison I have Midnight ride and Shannon, both from Dan Tobacco as well, but I like this better.

Very nice, cool burning blend. The Latakia is Syrian according to the manufacturer.

This is a nice and subtle medium range English smoke. Similar to Davidoff?s Royalty in that is not as mineral or ?balkanic? as other English/Scottish mixtures, it still has a bit more of the oriental components to provide a nice, pungent zest. It burns very nicely and cool. It is also similar to Bjarne´s The Special One, with far more body and character. The Latakia used in here (I think it could be Syrian) is less toasty than others I have tried. In fact, it has a kind of sweet sourness that underlines its flavour. Very nice. Not exceedingly moist, the tobacco packs well and has good burning qualities.
Not a bad alternative to more traditional, heavy tasting English/Scottish style mixtures.
