An easy relaxing smoke with a cold drink on a hot day. Very mild, unobtrusive room note, grassy, hay, and nutty, with a vanilla finish. Nice tobacco for those not yet accustomed to the wonderful world of English blends. It’s a good tobacco to have 4-5 oz on hand for smoking in or around groups of non English smokers. Don’t be afraid to pair this with a simple humble Budweiser, or a Pinot noir…. Or even a coke with lime! At the moment of this writing I’m actually smoking this with a Trader Joe’s bourbon (neat) and it’s working very well. (Note: I’ve smoked a total of 4 oz before submitting my review as to not just give a first impression.)

For a guy who enjoys english blends and cigar leaf blends, I really like this aromatic. It is something the wife loves too, so that is another plus.
It has a good tobacco flavor and yet has a good aromatic note that others will enjoy. I find most aromatics to be sickly sweet and ruin the great tobacco flavor, not so with this. My Dad, a fellow pipe smoker, says at times it reminds him of the Camel RYO tobac his grandpa smoked.
The red virginias definately are present, and is why I love this smoke, sometime I get a nutty smell. Another good aspect is it won't cake up your pipe like most aromatics. So if your an english tobacco smoker and you looking for something that others who don't smoke will enjoy, this is the one for you.

This was my first pipe tobacco. Keep that in mind when reading my review. It definitely grew on me. I discover a new subtlety of flavor with each bowl. It seemed relatively mild with a pleasant and sweet aura surrounding it. I'd certainly recommend it to a new smoker. It has me hooked. That's for sure. I just bought another ounce today. I intended to try something different, but I wasn't in the mood for a risk.

This is more of a 2.5 star blend for me, and I've dithered back and forth as to whether to give two stars or three. In the end, three stars because I think some effort was made here to offer a fine tobacco blend. There is a creamy nuttiness here (like cashew butter) which made me think there may be some white Burley in this blend, but the description says only Cavendish and Virginias. Behaves fairly well and is consistent from start to finish. Anyway, pleasant, soft-focus type of smoke, good with a basic lager, or just sitting on the deck watching the clouds go by.

I am fairly new to pipe smoking with this being one of my first tobaccos. The room note is better than most I have tried, pleasant. Mild nutty taste, with a slight hint of vanilla. A great tobacco for one looking for something on the mild side.

Very smooth Virginia that stays consistent through the bowl. Mild to medium all the way around, that delivers "light, soft flavor" as advertised. Has a somewhat creamy sweet, nutty (almost buttery) flavor profile. 4*.
