Leonard Dingler LTD Nineteen O'Four Rum & Raisin

It was 1904. Amid a backdrop of prosperity, extraordinary courage and new frontiers, Leonard Dingler arrived in the old Transvaal to join the search for fame and fortune. He brought not only his passionate sense of adventure, but also the family tradition of fine tobacco making. Little has changed. These time-honoured tobacco blends are still created with the same skill and discernment that was Leonard Dingler's trade mark, then and now.

Better than his brother “Nineteen O’Four Whisky”. However like his brother it is not a real aromatic. No description about the components, only the flavoring is indicated: Rum and Raisin. In my personal opinion in this blend there is Burley, Perique and a hint of Rum. I don’t taste any Kentucky and I don’t taste any Raisin (I think it’s very difficult to perceive this kind of flavor). Burley and Perique are evident. So this blend could be a Perique mixture, or a Burley based mixture and not properly an aromatic. Anyway the taste is good and the strength is ok (medium to strong). In my personal rating system (from 1 to 10) my score is 8 and three stars.

CORRECTION: It's true. There is also Kentucky in this blend.
