The black cavendish offers some sugar. The vanilla topping takes a lead over the chocolate, and both are mostly what you taste. Has almost no nicotine. Won't bite or get harsh. Burns cool and clean at a reasonable pace with a smooth, consistent flavor. Leaves a little moisture in the bowl, and needs an average number of relights. Has a pleasant after taste. Can be an all day smoke or a mixer.

I tried this blend as the first pipe tobacco I have had in years, so with that caveat: I enjoyed this blend. Nice smooth flavor, no bite, a hint of sweetness - nothing overpowering. My wife enjoyed the room (patio) aroma, so that is a plus.
I'll be smoking the rest of the sample I got, and am likely to buy more. Very nice indeed.
