I'm quite the Latakia/English/Balkan nut and tend to shy away from the aromatics.
This was a Christmas gift which my sis-in-law picked up for me; very sweet. Upon opening the wonderfully wrapped box it thought this would not be my cup of tea. Needless to say, I was wrong.
Very gentle, mellow, and not over-the-top with the casing. It burns clean and not too soppy. Not overly complex, but a few interesting things going-on. I did like the consistency of the burn. Often I've found with a number of aromatics the last half or third of the bowl the flavour goes bye bye, not this one. Mind you a slow steady pace is key and a quality briar of course.
Examining the bowl post-combustion the briar was not too wet and not a gurgle all the way through.
Extremely mild in the nicotine department, but I could careless about that. Others may seek out a room spinning blast; not here.
I'll keep some around for a pleasant break from my usual Latakia infusions and to share with a few pipe-mates who prefer this fare.
This is Lane BCA and very nice.

Tried this for the first time last week on a trip to San Francisco. I stopped into their shop and asked them for something pleasant and sweet and this was what they gave me. I was immediately pleased and will definitely be ordering more. I enjoy sweet aromatics so this was a very pleasant surprise for me to find this little jem hidden within the big city.

A good beginner tobacco and a fine, if simple, aromatic. The taste reminds me of fresh-baked vanilla cookies. The flavor is delicate so make sure your palate is clean when enjoying this dessert smoke. The room note is a crowd pleaser. The only real negative is that the last third of the bowl often gets tossed for me as it gets less than tasty and too wet.

This is my favorite tobacco from Grants. It's mild and has a "vintage" taste and smell to it. When I'm running low on this i get anxious and start to plan a trip to restock it. My wife loves the smell, which is always a plus. I've been smoking pipes for about 5 years and this is in my top 2 favorite tobaccos of all times. Great tobaccos all the time, Grants is a fun place to shop and all of the tobaccos i've tried are wonderful!!!
