Vanilla fudge. this tobacco is by far the best tobacco I have had from tobacco barn that And Cambridge also The tobacco is a very wicked smell when you open the bag it makes you want to eat it. the smell when your pipe is Lit is very good when I am working out side and my friends (other pipe smokers) they start to crave it The taste is mild but very smooth it's a nice pipe to walk with or have a nice Scotch and read a book it's really relaxing it is a must in my jars

Tobacco Barn was the first pipe tobacco I tried as a new pipe smoker, and their vanilla fudge was the first I tried from their sampler pack. Although their entire sampler was just bluntly delicious, this review is for their vanilla fudge blend.

All I can say is that Tobacco Barn's vanilla Fudge is incredible! Actually, that is an understatement.

Their vanilla fudge is honestly what turned me on to being a devout pipe smoker. The vanilla is more then just a vanilla, but a rich creamy vanilla, which gives it the "fudge" aspect. It's just delicious and rich, yet soft and wonderful.

I live in Kentucky where tobacco is a life support for taking your mind off the hardships and enjoy the simple pleasures, although they are on the other side of the country, Tobacco Barn certainly has my business.

I find this tobacco especially enjoyable as an after dinner smoke. It goes very well with a Stout beer, or a cordial liquor such as Jagermeister. To me this seems more of a colder weather smoke. One to enjoy in front of a nice roaring fire with a drink on the side after a hard day. I did notice that the blend is a bit on the wet side, and did contribute to some pipe gurgling. A little drying time may be in order, or keep your pipe cleaners handy as you smoke it.

I let this dry out a bit and it is a much better smoke. No more gurgles! I do think it could use a bit more flavoring though.

This is a great tobacco for those who have significant others who love the smell of vanilla. The smoke has a very nice natural smell of vanilla but it is hardly detected in the flavour, although the flavour is nice and mellow. The tobacco itself is a good moisture and surprisingly cool burning. It could have used a little more flavouring though to match the nice room note.
